Benedict XVI never grows tired of accepting this task and also talking about the consequences of ignoring this "grammar." But he does not speak loudly about these consequences, and not in an encyclical of their own, but instead quietly and
hiddenly in Caritas in Veritate, which is regarded worldwide as his "globalization encyclical." There is, in fact, a detailed discussion of the anthropological and theological foundations of globalization and its economic, social, and political aspects in this encyclical; yet it is much more than a globalization encyclical.
